Chief
Mark Worsman is a life-long resident of New Hartford. He resides in town with his wife Jennifer and their sons, Cody and Ryan.
Mark started in the New Hartford Fire Department as a Cadet in 1987. He graduated from Keene State College in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety.
Mark has been Chief since 2003. He is also an instructor at the Litchfield County Regional Fire Training School; former President of the CT Fire Chief Association; Litchfield County representative for the CT Fire Chiefs Association; President of the Litchfield County Fire Chiefs Association; and a member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and the National Fire Protection Association.
