Corey Sedgwick grew up in New Hartford.  In 2011, after returning home from the United States Air Force he joined the fire service.  He started at Nepaug Fire Department and in 2017 transferred to the New Hartford Fire Department.

Corey is a graduate of NCCC and CCSU where he built upon his military training and received an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology.

Corey works full-time as a Technical Services Manager for an Aerosol Machinery manufacturing company.

Corey was promoted to Lieutenant of Station #2 in 2023.
