What We Do

We respond to all types of calls, including but not limited to; fires, motor vehicle accidents, smoke investigations, activated smoke detectors and CO alarms, trees across roads, downed power lines, water rescues, ice rescues, and so much more. The Department has also been certified to respond to medical calls as Supplemental First Responders. We respond along side New Hartford Volunteer Ambulance for medical calls that are serious or life threatening in nature within Fire District 1.
